This research employs a quantitative approach using primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to 154 Muslim students of the Accounting Department at Politeknik Negeri Medan. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate that price and social media influencers have a positive and significant effect on shopping intensity, while halal awareness has no significant effect. Religiosity was found to moderate the influence of price on shopping intensity but did not moderate the influence of halal awareness. These findings suggest that price and social media influencers play an essential role in encouraging consumers’ shopping behavior through digital platforms such as ShopeeFood, while halal awareness has not yet become a dominant factor. Overall, this research contributes to the development of marketing strategies based on religious values and Muslim consumer behavior in the digital era.
Nuraisah, Rizal Agus, Muhammad Zuhirsyan, Nurlinda Nurlinda Copyright (c) 2026 Nuraisah, Rizal Agus, Muhammad Zuhirsyan, Nurlinda Nurlinda https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/424 Sat, 25 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 ANALISIS EFISIENSI OPERASIONAL DAN IMPLEMENTASI AKAD MURABAHAH BIL WAKALAH SEBAGAI STIMULUS PROFITABILITAS PADA PT. BPRS TEUNGKU CHIEK DI PANTE https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/645
This study aims to analyze the mechanism of implementation of the murabahah bil wakalah contract at PT. BPRS Teungku Chiek in Pante and its implications for the profitability and operational efficiency of Islamic banks for the 2023–2025 period. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive case study approach, combined with quantitative financial ratio analysis. The results of the study show that murabahah financing with a modification of the hybrid contract scheme (murabahah bil wakalah) is the main choice of customers because of the transparency of the cost of goods and the certainty of installments through a fixed rate of 1.5% per month. The sequential implementation of the contract is considered to have met the principles of sharia compliance with DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 04/2000, DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 68/2008, and Qanun Aceh No. 11/2018 concerning Sharia Financial Institutions (LKS). Financially, this product contributes significantly to progressively increasing profitability. The Return on Assets (ROA) indicator rose sharply from 0.57% (2023) to 6.69% (2025) in line with a surge in net profit from IDR 6.32 million to IDR 82.56 million. The consistent decline in the BOPO ratio to 78.76% in 2025 proves the improvement in the efficiency of the bank's operational performance. This study recommends strengthening the quality of digital-based microfinance feasibility analysis to mitigate Non-Performing Financing (NPF) risks and maintain a positive trend of profitability.
Muhammad Ridha, Qatrunnisa Qatrunnisa Copyright (c) 2026 Muhammad Ridha, Qatrunnisa Qatrunnisa https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/645 Sat, 25 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PELUANG DAN TANTANGAN KULINER VIRAL DI KOTA SIGLI: ANALISIS ETIKA BISNIS ISLAM https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/651
This study aims to analyze the overview of the viral culinary phenomenon in Sigli City, identify its operational opportunities and challenges, and evaluate these business practices from the perspective of Islamic Business Law. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a field research approach. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with business actors and religious leaders, supplemented by documentation techniques from relevant institutions. The findings indicate that the geographical, demographic, and economic stability factors of Sigli City serve as the primary catalysts for the development of viral culinary businesses. Identified strategic opportunities include competitive locations, a broad market share, stable consumer purchasing power, capital accessibility, and the optimization of digital promotion. Conversely, the main challenges comprise intense market competition, volatile consumer trends, capital constraints, fluctuating raw material prices, and long-term business sustainability. Based on the review of Islamic Business Law, this line of business is categorized as halal and permissible (mubah) as long as it implements Sharia principles. The application of core values such as honesty (shidiq), trustworthiness (amanah), justice, and Sharia-compliant promotional ethics proved to be a crucial instrument in mitigating business risks while ensuring blessings (barakah) and long-term business resilience
Safwan Safwan, Muhammad Noufal Copyright (c) 2026 Safwan Safwan, Muhammad Noufal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/651 Sat, 25 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM BAGI KORBAN CYBER SABOTAGE DAN CYBER EXTORTION DALAM PERSPEKTIF HUKUM POSITIF INDONESIA https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/450
The rapid development of information technology has increased digital efficiency while simultaneously expanding exposure to cybercrimes, particularly cyber sabotage and cyber extortion. The 2017 WannaCry ransomware attack serves as a concrete example of these two modes operating simultaneously through data encryption and ransom demands. This study aims to analyze the legal protection afforded to victims of such attacks within the framework of Indonesia’s positive law. Using a qualitative juridical-normative method, the research examines relevant regulations, including the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) and the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP), alongside academic literature and reports related to the WannaCry incident in Indonesia. The findings indicate that the attack significantly affected public institutions, particularly hospitals, whose operational performance was disrupted by encrypted data and system inaccessibility. Although UU ITE and KUHP provide a legal basis for electronic extortion and system interference, they do not explicitly regulate ransomware as a distinct offense. Victim protection both preventive and repressive remains insufficient due to the absence of clear mechanisms for restitution or compensation. This study highlights the need for regulatory reform, enhanced law enforcement capacity, and stronger national cybersecurity resilience to provide more effective and comprehensive protection for victims of modern cybercrimes.
Pramesti Refita Cahyani, Ravael Yehezkiel, Muhammad Adryan Maulana, Muhammad Zidan Ramadhan, Bagas Arifianto Copyright (c) 2026 Pramesti Refita Cahyani, Ravael Yehezkiel, Muhammad Adryan Maulana, Muhammad Zidan Ramadhan, Bagas Arifianto https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/450 Sat, 25 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PENANGANAN TINDAK PIDANA KORPORASI DAN PROSPEK PENGEMBANGANNYA DI INDONESIA https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/517
The increasingly complex evolution of the business world has given rise to various forms of corporate crime that have far-reaching impacts on the national economy, the environment, and public rights. This article aims to analyze the handling of corporate crimes in Indonesia, the forms of corporate criminal liability, the obstacles to law enforcement, and the prospects for the future development of regulations and enforcement regarding corporate criminal law. The study employs a normative legal research method, utilizing both statutory and conceptual approaches. The findings indicate that although Indonesia possesses an adequate legal foundation—such as Supreme Court Regulation Number 13 of 2016—corporate criminal law enforcement still faces various challenges regarding legal substance, the enforcement structure, and legal culture. Therefore, strengthening regulations and enhancing the capacity of law enforcement officials are essential to ensure the effective and equitable handling of corporate crimes.
Putri Meywa Ardina Nandikasari, Melinda Aprilia Zakia Usman, Abdul Aziz, Audy Fitriani, Salwaa Aziizah Avrilita Laksmi, Moh Taufik Copyright (c) 2026 Putri Meywa Ardina Nandikasari, Melinda Aprilia Zakia Usman, Abdul Aziz, Audy Fitriani, Salwaa Aziizah Avrilita Laksmi, Moh Taufik https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/517 Sat, 25 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 POLA PENYEBARAN FILM BAJAKAN PADA PLATFORM TELEGRAM DAN KONSEKUENSINYA TERHADAP PERLINDUNGAN HAK CIPTA https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/462
This study examines the distribution patterns of pirated films on the Telegram platform and their implications for copyright protection within the Indonesian legal framework. Telegram is selected as the research object due to its technical features, including cloud-based storage, large file upload capacity, public channels, and automated bots that enable the rapid, massive, and hard-to-trace dissemination of illegal content. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method based on a literature review, utilizing scientific articles, legal documents, technological sources, and relevant previous studies. The findings reveal that the distribution of unlicensed films on Telegram follows a structured flow involving channel administrators, members, bots, and external cloud integration. This pattern forms a parallel distribution network that cannot be effectively stopped through channel blocking alone. From a legal standpoint, such activities violate Law Number 28 of 2014 on Copyright and Law Number 19 of 2016 on Electronic Information and Transactions. However, enforcement efforts remain limited due to the absence of preventive regulations specifically governing cloud-based digital platforms. This study underscores the need for strengthened regulation, improved digital literacy, and the use of technologies such as watermarking and content-recognition systems to enhance the effectiveness of intellectual property protection.
Hanifatul Nurjanah, Amanda Regina Prizy, Restu Kelana Wahyudimas, Nursamawati, Halby Stifandri Copyright (c) 2026 Hanifatul Nurjanah, Amanda Regina Prizy, Restu Kelana Wahyudimas, Nursamawati, Halby Stifandri https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/462 Fri, 31 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 KETIKA ATURAN BERTEMU TRADISI: KOEKSISTENSI REGULASI DAN BUDAYA LOKAL DALAM TATA KELOLA DESA https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/481
This article examines how formal regulations and local culture can coexist in village governance in Indonesia. Using a qualitative research methodology based on an extensive literature review of leading indexed academic journals, particularly Sinta and Scopus, this study carefully analyzes the complex interplay between strict legalistic rules and deeply rooted socio-cultural practices, including but not limited to mutual cooperation (gotong royong), community deliberations (musyawarah), and the crucial role played by traditional leaders within these communities. The study's findings illuminate the idea that the overall effectiveness and efficiency of village governance is influenced not solely by the level of compliance with formal regulations, but rather by the village's capacity to effectively internalize and integrate local cultural values into the process of policy formulation and implementation. This complex coexistence of formal regulations and local cultural practices ultimately culminates in the development of a governance model that is not only more adaptive and participatory but also significantly more sustainable in the long term.
Andriyawan E. Although Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been prioritized as a strategic technology in Indonesia’s digital transformation agenda, existing studies predominantly conceptualize AI as a technical tool rather than an entrepreneurial capability that shapes technopreneurial orientation and behavior. This study aims to analyze the role of AI as an enabler of technopreneurship in strengthening the digital ecosystem of cooperative-based MSMEs through a holding approach. A conceptual research design employing a systematic synthesis of the literature on technopreneurship, artificial intelligence, dynamic capabilities, MSME holdings, and digital ecosystems was applied. Articles were selected by publication year, topic relevance, research focus, metadata completeness, and DOI availability. After screening, 31 articles published between 2009 and 2021 were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings show that leverage is the most dominant theme because it relates to capital structure, firm value, investment flexibility, and bankruptcy risk. Liquidity explains short-term financial stability, yet its effect varies across sectors and research models. Profitability, especially ROA, ROE, EPS, and profit margin, appears as the most consistent indicator for assessing financial performance and market response. The study uses a quantitative associative design and balanced panel data from 10 Islamic commercial banks during 2018–2022, producing 50 bank-year observations. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS was employed to estimate direct and indirect relationships at a 5% significance level. The results show that DPK and PDBI have significant negative effects on income, whereas PDBL has a significant positive effect. DPK does not directly affect profit, while PDBI has a significant negative effect and PDBL a significant positive effect. Income also has a significant effect on profit, although its coefficient is negative after the other funding-allocation variables are controlled. The mediation analysis indicates that income transmits the effects of DPK, PDBI, and PDBL to profit. These findings imply that increasing funding sources is insufficient without efficient allocation, liquidity management, and control of fund costs. The main focus of the study is to understand how profit and loss sharing is conducted fairly between shahibul maal and mudharib, as well as the role of agency theory and trust theory in enhancing transparency and reducing moral hazard risks in Islamic bank financial statements. The research method used is a literature review, analyzing various sources related to mudharabah accounting and the implementation of SAK Syariah, such as books, scientific journals, and research reports. The analysis process is descriptive, synthesizing the key findings from the selected literature based on relevance and authority. The study results indicate that the implementation of mudharabah accounting must ensure that sharia principles are maintained, while emphasizing transparency and accountability in financial reporting. Additionally, the role of supervision and trust between shahibul maal and mudharib is crucial in maintaining an efficient and fair relationship. This research also evaluates how mudharabah accounting contributes to the sustainability of the Islamic banking industry and provides recommendations for improving financial reporting and strengthening trust in the sharia investment system.
Maulena Maulena, Mona Fitri , Naila Afifah Sharfina, Yusri Hazmi, Mariana Mariana Copyright (c) 2026 Maulena Maulena, Mona Fitri , Naila Afifah Sharfina, Yusri Hazmi, Mariana Mariana https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/663 Mon, 03 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 KOMISARIS INDEPENDEN DALAM MEMODERASI KONEKSI POLITIK, GENDER DIVERSITY DAN PERTUMBUHAN LABA TERHADAP FINANCIAL DISTRESS https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/524
This study aims to analyze the effect of political connections, gender diversity, and profit growth
on financial distress, with independent commissioners as a moderating variable. This research
employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the financial statements
and annual reports of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
(IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. The data were analyzed using multiple regression with a
Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) approach. The results indicate that political connections
have no significant effect on financial distress. Gender diversity has a negative effect on
financial distress, indicating that greater gender diversity reduces the likelihood of financial
distress. Profit growth has a positive effect on financial distress, suggesting that higher profit
growth does not necessarily reflect better financial stability. Furthermore independent
commissioners, is unable to moderate the relationship between political connections and
financial distress. However, independent commissioners are proven to weaken the influence of
gender diversity and profit growth on financial distress. These findings suggest that independent
commissioners, is effective in strengthening supervisory functions over internal corporate
factors. This study is expected to contribute to the corporate governance literature and provide
practical implications for management and stakeholders in preventing financial distress among
SOEs.
Fahmawati Atika Dewi, Pambuko Naryoto Copyright (c) 2026 Fahmawati Atika Dewi, Pambuko Naryoto https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/524 Wed, 19 Aug 2026 00:00:00 +0000 PENCATATAN PALSU DALAM PEMBUKUAN REKENING DAN LAPORAN KEUANGAN OLEH CUSTOMER SERVICE BANK SYARIAH INDONESIA (BSI) KCP SEUTUI https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/669
This paper aims to determine the factors causing the crime of falsifying banking transaction records by bank employees and efforts to overcome it. This study aims to analyze the accuracy of financial distress prediction models using Altman Z-Score and Zmijewski X-Score, in Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises during the 2021–2023 period. The research employed a quantitative comparative method using both financial ratios and financial statement account data of State-Owned Enterprises by being evaluated through the Naïve Bayes classifier method. The results reveal that the Altman Z-Score model achieved the highest level of accuracy, with 85% when predicted using financial ratios while Zmijewski X-Score achieved the highest level of accuracy with 57.5% when using financial statement accounts. These results suggest that the Altman Z-Score model provides superior predictive capability in identifying early signs of financial distress among Indonesian SOEs. Therefore, this model can be considered a more reliable analytical tool for stakeholders, policymakers, and financial analysts in assessing the financial sustainability and risk exposure of State-Owned Enterprises.
Ridho Dwi Maulida, Arief Wibowo Copyright (c) 2026 Ridho Dwi Maulida, Arief Wibowo https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.stisalhilalsigli.ac.id/index.php/jhei/article/view/525 Fri, 31 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000
